How to get there?

Poznań is well connected in terms of public transport and micromobility. Events taking place here are accessible by various means of transport.

By public transport

  • by bus – the “Zamek” bus stop is located 650 meters from the club; on Aleje Niepodległości Street
  • by tram – the “27 Grudnia” tram stop is located 100 meters from the club, at 27 Grudnia street; Plac Ratajski tram stops are located 250 meters from the club, on Cyryla Ratajski Square; “Aleje Marcinkowskiego” tram stops are located 250 and 350 meters from the club, on Aleje Marcinkowskiego street

By car

It is not possible to drive right to the entrance to the club

Parking:the club is located in the Śródmieście Paid Parking Zone, valid from Monday to Friday, from 8.00-20.00 and on Saturdays from 8.00-18.00. Parking fees are paid at parking meters located on the street (some parking meters only accept coins) or via the application. The nearest parking spaces are approximately 150 m from the club, on Ratajczaka and 3 Maja streets. Additionally, there are three paid parking lots nearby: 50 meters away – parking on  Ratajczaka street, at number 44; 50 meters away – Plac Wolności underground parking lot; 200 meters away there is a parking lot on the street. 27 Grudnia street at the highlander stands, near Okrąglak.
Parking spaces for people with disabilities: the nearest envelopes are located 50-100 meters from the club, on 3 Maja Street; next to the Arkadia building from Nowowiejski Street and on very Nowowiejski Street, close to the intersection with Wolności Square. Parking for authorized cars in paid parking zones designated for people with disabilities is free of charge. If the envelope is occupied, you may park your vehicle in a parking space directly adjacent to the occupied space.

Scooter

In Poznań there are electric scooter rentals operated by operators such as Uber/Lime, Bolt or Dott. However, there is an obligation to leave the scooter at Hop&go mobility points, marked with information plates with a blue bubble and the white inscription “Hop&go”. The obligation to leave rented scooters at the points presented above applies to areas covered by the Śródmieście Paid Parking Zone and the Paid Parking Zone, i.e. the Old Town, Jeżyce, Wilda, Łazarz, Ostrów Tumski, Śródka and Piotrów. Failure to leave the scooter at the designated Hop&go point will result in the inability to terminate the rental and the fee will continue to be charged. In locations outside paid parking zones, it is recommended to leave shared equipment at Hop&go points, but this is no longer obligatory.

By bike

Poznań is well connected with bicycle paths. There are over 138 kilometers of bicycle paths and over 97 kilometers of pedestrian and bicycle paths in Poznań. However, the Poznań City Bike rental system no longer operates. Bicycle racks are located right next to or in close proximity to the Hop&go points described above in the Scooters section.

By taxi

There are several taxi companies operating in Poznań. Information about them and their telephone numbers can be found on the official website of the city of Poznań: TAXI corporation in Poznan.

Taxis for people with disabilities are provided by Hanna Florczak “EURO-TAXI”. Transport is available 24/7. A taxi should be ordered at least 12 hours in advance by calling + 48 61 811 11 11 or sending an e-mail to centrala@euro-taxi.com.pl. Event location

The festival club will be arranged in the Poznań office of Malta Festival, which has been operating here since 2013.

Entrance to the building

  • The entrance to the Festival Club is from Plac Wolności and takes the stairs.
  • The entrance for people with mobility problems and wheelchair users is located at 44 Ratajczaka Street. There are two steps at the entrance. In the case of people in a wheelchair, a service employee wearing a festival T-shirt and a festival ID badge or a security guard standing at the entrance will arrange the ramp for entry and exit. After entering the building, please go straight ahead to the elevator. After taking the elevator to the 1st floor, please go to the right, to the wooden door with the inscription “Malta Festival”. Then the entrance to the club is on the right. At the entrance there are ramps enabling wheelchair access to the club.
  • If the event taking place at the club is ticketed, the tickets will be checked at the entrance to the event by eBilet staff. You can have them with you in electronic or paper version. People who purchased an OzN ticket are asked to take the certificate with them to show it to the staff along with the ticket.

Where is the room where the event takes place?

  • Straight ahead, right after entering the stairs leading to it from Plac Wolności. The alternative access is described above in the “entrance to the building” section.
  • The main stairs and corridors in the case of the alternative entrance leading to the club are well lit

The space where the event takes place

The club space is approximately 250 m2. The club is equipped with wooden folding chairs. Seats are not numbered. Spaces for wheelchair users are available. The room is not air-conditioned.

Toilets

  • An accessible toilet is located at Plac Wolności, 100 meters from the entrance to the club from Ratajczaka Street. Standard toilets are also located at Plac Wolności.
  • Changing room is available at the Family Initiatives Center, 50 meters from the entrance to the club on Ratajczaka Street, and is located in the same building. After exiting, please turn left and turn left again at the edge of the building. The Family Initiatives Center is located behind the Cultural Information Center. Accessibility tools

You can enter the club with your dog, but please bring a valid vaccination certificate for your dog in order to show it to the staff. There is a water bowl for the dog in the club.

Return / after the event

f an event taking place at the club ends late, it is possible to return by public transport, both by bus (the “Zamek” bus stop is located 650 meters from the club; on Aleje Niepodległości Street) and by tram (the “27 Grudnia” tram stop is 100 m from the club, on 27 Grudnia Street and the tram stop “Aleje Marcinkowskiego” is located 350 meters from the club on Aleje Marcinkowskiego street).
