How to get there?

Poznań is well connected in terms of public transport and micromobility. Events taking place here are accessible by various means of transport.

By public transport

• by bus – the “Zamek” bus stop is located 750 meters from Plac Wolności; on Aleje Niepodległości Street
• by tram – the “27 Grudnia” tram stop is located 150 meters from Plac Wolności, at 27 Grudnia street; Plac Ratajski tram stops are located 300 meters from Plac Wolności, on Plac Cyryla Ratajskiego; “Aleje Marcinkowskiego” tram stops are located 150 and 250 meters from Plac Wolności, on Aleje Marcinkowskiego street

By car

You can drive right up to Plac Wolności from Nowowiejskego Street.

Parking:Plac Wolności is located in the Śródmieście Paid Parking Zone, valid from Monday to Friday, from: 8.00-20.00 and on Saturdays from 8.00-18.00. Parking fees are paid at parking meters located on the street (some parking meters only accept coins) or via the application. The nearest parking spaces are approximately 150 m from Plac Wolności, on Ratajczaka and 3 Maja streets. Additionally, there are three paid parking lots nearby: 150 meters away – parking on Ratajczaka street, at number 44; 0 meters away – Plac Wolności underground parking lot; 300 meters away there is a parking lot on 27 Grudnia street at the highlanders’ stands, near Okrąglak.
Parking spaces for people with disabilities: the nearest envelopes are located 0 meters away from the Arkadia building on the side of Nowowiejskiego Street and 50 meters away on Nowowiejskiego Street itself, close to the intersection with Plac Wolności; 100 meters from Plac Wolności, on 3 Maja Street. Parking for authorized cars in paid parking zones designated for people with disabilities is free of charge. If the envelope is seized, you may park your vehicle in a parking space directly adjacent to the occupied space.

Scooter

In Poznań there are electric scooter rentals operated by operators such as Uber/Lime, Bolt or Dott. However, there is an obligation to leave the scooter at Hop&go mobility points, marked with information plates with a blue bubble and the white inscription “Hop&go”. The obligation to leave rented scooters at the points presented above applies to areas covered by the Śródmieście Paid Parking Zone and the Paid Parking Zone, i.e. the Old Town, Jeżyce, Wilda, Łazarz, Ostrów Tumski, Śródka and Piotrów. Failure to leave the scooter at the designated Hop&go point will result in the inability to terminate the rental and the fee will continue to be charged. In locations outside paid parking zones, it is recommended to leave shared equipment at Hop&go points, but this is no longer obligatory.

By bike

Poznań is well connected with bicycle paths. There are over 138 kilometers of bicycle paths and over 97 kilometers of pedestrian and bicycle paths in Poznań. However, the Poznań City Bike rental system no longer operates. Bicycle racks are located right next to or in close proximity to the Hop&go points described above in the Scooters section.

By taxi

There are several taxi companies operating in Poznań. Information about them and their telephone numbers can be found on the official website of the city of Poznań: TAXI corporation in Poznan.

Taxis for people with disabilities are provided by Hanna Florczak “EURO-TAXI”. Transport is available 24/7. A taxi should be ordered at least 12 hours in advance by calling + 48 61 811 11 11 or sending an e-mail to centrala@euro-taxi.com.pl. Event location

Plac Wolności is located 300 meters from the Old Market Square. As part of the Malta Festival, there will be theater performances on its square, there will also be a Timisien sculpture, and during the festival, you will be able to enter the Festival Club directly from the square via the stairs built for the Malta Festival.

The space where the event takes place

Plac Wolności is an open-air place, surrounded by streets on three sides and the Arkadia building on one side. There are no architectural barriers.

Toilets

• An accessible toilet is located at Plac Wolności. The toilet is equipped with a changing table for children.
• Changing room is available at the Family Initiatives Center, 50 meters from Plac Wolności. It is located in the Arkadia building, behind Empik, walking along Plac Wolności from the tram tracks. During the Malta Festival, the Family Initiatives Center is open from Monday to Friday from:
  09/09. (Monday): 10.00-19:30
  10.09. (Tuesday): 10.00-18.30
  11.09 (Wednesday): 10.00-18.30
  12.09 (Thursday): 10.00-18.30
  13.09 (Friday): 10.00-18.00

Accessibility tools

• During performances, there will be a zone in the audience marked with low fences, ensuring visibility and safe reception for people with special needs.
  
• Plac Wolności is a public area, so you can bring your dog. Due to various situations, please bring your dog’s current vaccination certificate with you. At Plac Wolności, next to the toilet for people with disabilities, there will be a bowl of water for dogs.

Return / after the event

If the event taking place at Plac Wolności ends late, you can return by public transport, both by bus (the “Zamek” bus stop is located 750 meters from Plac Wolności; on Aleje Niepodległości street) and by tram (the “27 Grudnia” tram stop is located 150 m from Plac Wolności, on 27 Grudnia Street and the tram stop “Aleje Marcinkowskiego” is located 250 meters from the club; on Aleje Marcinkowskiego street).
