Parking fees are paid at parking meters located on the street (some parking meters only accept coins) or via the application. The nearest parking spaces are along Wieniawskiego Street.
Parking spaces for people with disabilities: there are two envelopes in front of the theater entrance; other envelopes are located 150 meters from the theater on Wieniawskiego Street and 200 meters from the theater on Aleje Niepodległości Street. Parking for authorized cars in paid parking zones designated for people with disabilities is free of charge. If the envelope is occupied, you may park your vehicle in a parking space directly adjacent to the occupied space.

Scooter

In Poznań there are electric scooter rentals operated by operators such as Uber/Lime, Bolt or Dott. However, there is an obligation to leave the scooter at Hop&go mobility points, marked with information plates with a blue bubble and the white inscription “Hop&go”. The obligation to leave rented scooters at the points presented above applies to areas covered by the Śródmieście Paid Parking Zone and the Paid Parking Zone, i.e. the Old Town, Jeżyce, Wilda, Łazarz, Ostrów Tumski, Śródka and Piotrów. Failure to leave the scooter at the designated Hop&go point will result in the inability to terminate the rental and the fee will continue to be charged. In locations outside paid parking zones, it is recommended to leave shared equipment at Hop&go points, but this is no longer obligatory.

More information and the locations of Hop&go points can be found on the website of the Municipal Roads Authority in Poznań: Micromobility

Event location

Poznań Opera House of Stanisław Moniuszko is an opera theater that was established in 1909 in Poznań, as the new seat of the City Theater, which then operated in the Arkadia building.

Entrance to the building

  • Main entrance to the Opera House building from Fredry street goes up the stairs.
  • The entrance for people in wheelchairs or with mobility problems is located on the left side of the main entrance (from the side of Antonina Kawecka Square). It is marked with the symbol ” ♿︎ “; it is accessed by a ramp or stairs. During the events, a service employee wearing a festival T-shirt and a festival ID badge will be with them. After entering the theater, enter the first floor; where there is an entrance to the main auditorium and seats in the auditorium for wheelchair users, as well as adapted toilets, is via a stair lift operated by trained staff. It is also possible to take the elevator to the upper floor to the foyer and seats in the auditorium are located on the balcony (however, wheelchair access to the auditorium is not possible there). Please note that the ride to each floor takes 5-7 minutes. We encourage you to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the performance.
  • Tickets will be checked at the entrance to the event by ebilet staff. You can have them with you in electronic or paper version. People who purchased an OzN ticket are asked to take the certificate with them to show it to the staff along with the ticket.

Where is the room where the event takes places?

  • As part of the Malta Festival, performances at the Opera House take place on the Main Stage. The room is located on the first floor; located in front of the main door; access to its level is also possible via a stair lift.
  • The corridors leading to the rooms are well lit; additionally, information boards in Braille are attached in front of the entrances and rows of chairs

The space where the event takes place

  • The Main Stage with the audience is approximately 1,000 m2
  • The seats in the auditorium are numbered; the chairs are traditional theater
The Main Stage is equipped with an immersive surround sound system and an acoustic support system, which means that sounds to spectators and spectators sitting in the auditorium come from the front, around and above – an effect comparable to cinema Dolby surround
  • Spaces for wheelchair users are designated at both ends of rows XI and XII

Toilets

Toilets are available at the entrance level to the auditorium and are located near the cloakroom. There are Braille signs at the entrance to the toilets. The toilets are adapted for people with disabilities, but the handle to the entrance door to the toilet is round.

Accessibility tools

  • On the Main Stage, for the hearing impaired, there is an infrared modulator SI1015
  • You can enter the Main Stage with an assistance dog or a guide dog, but please bring a certificate and a current vaccination certificate for your dog in order to show it to the staff.
