How does the EcoQuiz work?

1. Creating teams: Teams consist of several people (up to 4 players). The participants can come to the zone as a team or join other players on site. The number of team members and the name of the team should be reported to the Quiz host.
2. Quiz Host: This is the person who asks questions and leads the entire game, and also resolves disputes in case of doubts regarding the answers. The Quiz Host also keeps a points table and decides the winners of the Quiz and the tiebreaker.
3. Question rounds: The quiz consists of 9 categories, including 3 multimedia categories, and a tiebreaker. Each category has 5 questions. Participants answer questions in teams, on answer cards. The questions in the quiz will be open and in a test form (ABCD). All questions are displayed on a large screen in the form of a presentation and are also asked by the host.
4. Writing down answers: Teams write down their answers on the special answer cards.
5. Scoring: After every three categories, teams exchange answer cards and after the host presents the answers, points are awarded: 1 point for a correct answer and 0 points for an incorrect answer. The team with the most points wins.
6. Extra round: If after answering all the questions, some of the teams participating in the game have the same number of points, these teams take part in an extra round. Extra round questions are asked until the end – in such a situation, the winner of the extra round is the final winner of the entire EkoQuiz.
7. Prizes: The first three teams are awarded. Among other things, tickets to the Malta events can be won.
