Hatha yoga is a gentle practice that focuses on static positions. The pace of practice is rather slow, the transitions from position to position are not as dynamic as in the case of vinyasa.

Hatha yoga is a mind-body balancing practice. “Ha” represents the sun aspect and symbolizes life energy. “Tha” represents the moon aspect and symbolizes the withdrawal of the senses and the inward turning of attention.

Hatha yoga calms and improves the quality of sleep; relieves back pain and improves its flexibility; improves balance by strengthening the deep muscles; relieves the physical and mental symptoms of menopause and helps treat anxiety and depression. Who is it for? Everyone!
